Hamstone Vets is an Independent Veterinary Practice based in Crewkerne.

The practice was founded with the mission to bring back the quality of care of the traditional Vet practice, with a personalised service that revolved around the needs of our clients, where we know every patient by name.

As a business, we have deep West country roots, it's where our founders met and started working together and it's home to the stone that inspired our name and forms the physical foundation of our practice.

Our Story

We write this to you as the founders of Hamstone Vets. We saw a need for a new independent vet Practice in Crewkerne, where we could provide a professional, caring and friendly experience to our clients and their pets.

We have worked together for several years in South Somerset and West Dorset and have had great success on the local cricket team, we both knew we had an excellent recipe for a great business partnership too.

Our next step was to find the perfect premises that were large enough, accessible on one floor, had some Hamstone character and provided ample parking for our patients. We were thrilled when we found the ideal location at the Linen Yard in Crewkerne.

We look forward to welcoming you into our practice when we open in the Autumn!
